Sensory & Consumer Science - Seminar Know-how for Your SuccessDöhler Sensory & Consumer Science offers dedicated seminars or sensory training sessions for customers. This knowledge share process consists of mainly one-day seminars either at our headquarters in Darmstadt on on site at customers's premises, if required. There are two seminar formats abailable covering different modules to fit specific needs:
Seminar concept 1: Sensory Science
This seminar offers training on sensory science methods and application at eighter an introductory or more advanced level: - Basics of sensory science: physiology of perception
- Main chracteristics of analytical sensory evaluation
- Panelist training based on DIN 10961 (basic tastes, taste thresholds, etc.)
- Building an analytical panel
- Theory and practice of different test applications (triangular, Duo-Trio, paired comparision, ranking)
- Theory and practice of sensory profiling application (Conventional/QDA, Consensus)
- Language development for specific product categories
- Sensory science and quality assurance
- Effective sensory analyses without FIZZ
- Statistics of sensory science

These seminars can be tailored to help train individuals such as panel leaders or sensory science and quality assurance managers as well as complete sensory panels (maximum 15 people per seminar). Flavour references
Döhler Sensory & Consumer Science also offers flavour references to suport the training of analytical panels tand facilitate language development. These references are available as single vials in varying sizes from 30 to 500 ml or as individual training kits consisting of eight flavour references in a practical case.
