At the core of the expansion is a major upgrade to Döhler’s hydroethanolic (hydroalcoholic) extraction capabilities for botanicals. This enhancement significantly scales the company’s ability to produce premium, natural extracts, supporting growing demand for sophisticated functional ingredient systems and solutions. By leveraging advanced extraction technologies, Döhler can further unlock the full sensory and functional potential of botanicals while maintaining clean-label standards.
In addition, the Cartersville site now features an expanded reaction chemistry platform focused on sweet reaction flavors, pyrazines and natural chemistry. This development enables Döhler to broaden its portfolio of authentic taste solutions, delivering deeper, more complex flavor profiles tailored to modern consumer expectations.
The investment also drives a substantial increase in liquid flavor production capacity and batch sizes, allowing Döhler to respond more efficiently and flexibly to customer needs. Complementing the Cartersville expansion, Döhler continues to strengthen its integrated capabilities across North America.
