Ready-to-prepare dehydrated media for the detection and enumeration of diastatic wild yeast population in brewing culture yeast and beer samples.

This brand new product is a highlight in the range of wild yeast test kits. DSDM® convinces with highest selectivity and specificity, also for detection in culture yeast. It is mainly used as a liquid medium, but also by adding agar-agar as a solid medium. By selecting appropriate components, only the growth of super-attenuating yeast is promoted, while culture yeast is inhibited. An additional colour indicator helps to interpret the results by showing a colour change.
